In Amy Sedaris’ quirky hosting book “I Like You” she says that inviting people to your home for a party is essentially saying to them, “I like you.”
My home is in California, which is not terribly convenient for my friends from the UK, but now I’m making my way to London. While I’m there, I’d like to have you over–to the lobby of The Thistle Hotel for a cup of coffee or tea.
