If you’re like me, having been to personal and couple’s counseling plenty but never having had a coach except in school sports, then counseling is probably your point of reference when you picture professional help with your relationship.
That’s all any of us had for a long time.
If you’ve already been to marriage counseling, as so many people have, and that didn’t work, why would coaching be any better? Or if your experience in counseling was painful, that might be your view of what relationship coaching is like too.
But relationship coaching is very, very different.
